We're out here surviving!

So there is a pandemic going on changing most people's way of life. Although it is a relaxing time to stay at home many people are still working and we all have he shall not be named (Covid-19) in that back of our minds. All pools and recreation centers have closed. This is a bummer because, to be honest, corona-virus is killed by chlorine and i could really use the pool as a place to relax and distress. I’m going to leave some alternative ways to distress outside of the pool.

  1. Go for a walk or run outside! I’ve been logging steps and walking about 4 miles daily with my family. It’s just a nice change of scenery and I think it also helps relieve stress.

  2. I’ve seen a lot of ways you can do yoga. The YMCA was broadcasting yoga on some platform free of charge. Many YouTubers have posted free yoga workouts. On-Demand also has 15-minute segments of things like yoga burn. so there is a way to get your body moving threw these hard times.

  3. When in doubt use creativity. I’ve seen a number of friends go outside and design their own workouts with weights, jump ropes, and bands. you can even stay indoors and use household items and keep it fresh and fun!

I also realized something else, this past February was my fifth year anniversary of me starting the company. It’s very exciting that I’m still here and I’m also realizing how far my company has truly come. The first year I was in business I had one client. Fast forward five years later and I have five consistent clients. I knew nothing about business but I knew a bunch about swimming! I’m so proud of myself and my clients. I also know that i have had a lot of support along the way and i want to thank everyone for that.
